This Week In Science #3

This week in science, my team mates and I have started a plant investigation. We are using Brassica Rapa beans. We put about 8 to 10 pip-ets full of water in each cup. We put one cup in the sunlight, one under a light bulb and one with no light at all. So far they have all been growing around the same length. They are about .5 centimeters apart from each other.
This week in science I learned how to write a testable question so that it would be easy to be answered. I learned how to write a proper procedure that anyone can understand. Even an English speaking alien. I learned about a plant called Brassica Rapa and how it can grow within two weeks. I found out that it satrs sprouting within 2 days.  I wasn't expecting this but I learned that they can turn purple. I am still unsure of how it turned that color.

This week in Science #2

This week in science we played with some poppers. After we played with the poppers, we came up with some questions about them. Then we came up with dependent and independent variables about the poppers. After we did that, we wrote testable questions about the poppers. The next day we continued our plant investigations. We wrote some facts that we learned and wrote somethings that we were wondering about plants. Then we started to write testable questions for our plant investigation. After that we had to draw an experimental setup so that we could put our questions to the test.
This week in science we learned that there is a plant that can grow within 2 weeks. The same plant that grows within 2 weeks starts sprouting within 2 days. The plant has different type s of vitamins that are healthy for us. I also learned how to write a testable question so that i can attempt to answer it.
