This Week in Science #4

This week in science I did a second science investigation on a plant called Brassica Rapa.  I had one plant under sunlight, one under artificial light and one with no light.  I put 10 pipets full of water in the cups.  The hardest part was trying to measure the length of the plants because some of the plant was already under the dirt. I just want to know why is artificial light better than natural sunlight. The funny part was when we tried to measure one of the plants and half of it broke off.
By the end of the investigation I learned that artificial light is better for the Brassica Rapa. I learned that the plant starts sprouting within 2 days. I learned that the more they grow the more purple it turns. I also learned that the Brassica Rapa needs more water than you may think.
